My name is Amen Tesfaye
I'm an extremely motivated fourth year undergraduate student at NYU. I am majoring in computer science and minoring in Chinese language. I am very passionate about technology and I'm always striving to improve my problem solving abilities. I do this by learning new skills on sites such as LinkedIn learning, udemy and coursera and by participating in projects. I've worked on a project that required extensive use of sql and python's flask framework to create a model airline database system.
Project 2
Spectrographic Decryption
This project I worked on aimed to find a way to decrypt a message by playing a specific song and viewing a spectrogram as the message gets decrypted. It was an extremely fulfilling project that I hope to continue working on.
Project 3
Chat System/ server-client interaction
Created a chatsystem that allowed communication between a server and client machine and enabled the remote play of the game "XO" across a server and client machine.
Project 4
virtual reality
Created a vr environment using the javascript API WebGl. The environment had various 3D entities and was finally able to be deployed to a VR goggle
